The Georgia District Church of the Nazarene is a supportive, committed team
dedicated to lovingly equip, encourage, and enable the local churches
in fulfilling the Great Commandment and in the passionate pursuit
of the Great Commission.


Welcome to the Georgia District Website

Georgraphically, Georgia is the largest state east of the Mississippi River and encompasses some 59,441 square miles.

We have beautiful scenic mountains, rolling rivers, miles of beaches along our coastlines, marshlands and swamps; the possibilities are endless. There are big city lights with towering skyscrapers and charming old neighborhoods, museums. arts amd history. Discover the charm of the "old" South at our Southern Plantations.

Explore the heart and soul of Georgia through the music, literature, and history and enjoy the myriad of Georgia products, including peanuts, Vidalia onions, pecans and peaches.

PRAYER SUMMIT

TREVECCA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY
May 28-30, 2008

Who: All Nazarene leaders, including pastors, associates, evangelists, missionaries, professors, chaplains and superintendents.

No speakers, no notebooks, no agenda.

Focus will be on worship, prayer and response to guidance of the Holy Spirit. Sponsored by the Board of General Superintendents.

The summit will begin with lunch at 12 noon on the first day and conclude at noon on the third day and will include 48 hours in God's presence.

Registration is now being accepted.

CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

The Church of the Nazarene is a global family.  Nazarenes in 151 world areas deserve to attend the centennial celebration  which will take place across 24 time zones in every local church October 5, 2008 - Centennial Celebration Sunday.

 

More than 18,000 pastors will stand before their congregations on this Centennial Celebration Sunday to proclaim the same message, scripture and theme.   Pastors will be trained in May at the Jackson Church of the Nazarene in preparation for this historic day.
